20 Guilders are a Japanese band. There are two members: Tabata Mitsuru (also in Acid Mothers Temple & the Cosmic Inferno) and Suzuki Junzo (also in Miminokoto). They started the band to play all the hits from when they were growing up. This is their cover of The Undertones song Teenage Kicks, at Echo In Shibuya last Sunday morning.

Nice recording. Tabata was certainly on form that night.
Irealized when I was listening the other night that their translation of the chorus is just literal:
??????????????Teenage Kicks???
I have no idea about the rest. But nice to be able to understand some Japanese lyrics for once.
Their Thompson Twins cover is also pretty ace eh?
