Photos from Split Fountain, in Auckland, New Zealand.  The shop is up the far end of K’rd, acting as a go between for a laundry on one side and adult ‘entertainment’ store on the other.  Run by Michael Lett and Layla Tweedie-Cullen it sells artist’s books, independent magazines and great little publications like Total Trattoria. Exclusively open on a Saturday, S/F stocks a lot of local content and more durable publications.  Thanks to Kelvin Soh for the recommendation (Kelvin Soh the curator and designer, not Kelvin Soh the jailbird turned evangelical singer/preacher).
